The All High (Al-A'alaa)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
۞ Praise the name of thy Lord the Most High, 1 who has created and shaped, 2 who has ordained and guided, 3 And Who bringeth forth the pasturage, 4 then made it a blackening wrack. 5 We will make you recite so you shall not forget, 6 save what God wills; surely He knows what is spoken aloud and what is hidden. 7 We shall make all your tasks easy. 8 Therefore remind, if the Reminder profits, 9 He who fears [God] will heed the reminder, 10 but the reprobates will turn away 11 and suffer the heat of the great fire 12 where he will neither die nor live. 13 He has certainly succeeded who purifies himself 14 remember the name of the Lord, and pray to Him. 15 But ye prefer the life of this world, 16 Although the Hereafter is better and more lasting. 17 This is surely in the earlier Books, 18 the Scrolls of Abraham and Moses. 19
God the Almighty always says the truth.
