The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ Glorify the name of your Lord, the Most High, 1 Who has created (all things) proportionately, 2 who determines the nature [of all that exists], and guided it accordingly; 3 Who bringeth forth the pasturage, 4 Then maketh it to stubble dusky. 5 We shall make thee recite, to forget not 6 Except what Allah should will. Indeed, He knows what is declared and what is hidden. 7 We shall ease thee unto the Easing. 8 REMIND, THEN, [others of the truth, regardless of] whether this reminding [would seem to] be of use [or not]: 9 and he who fears shall remember, 10 but it will be ignored by the most unfortunate, 11 He who shall roast into the Great Fire, 12 wherein he will neither die nor remain alive. 13 Prosperous is he who purifies himself, 14 And recites the name of his Lord and serves with devotion. 15 But you prefer the present life, 16 and the world to come is better, and more enduring. 17 Most surely this is in the earlier scriptures, 18 The scriptures of Ibrahim and Musa. 19
