The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
۞ GLORIFY THE NAME of your Lord, most high, 1 Who hath created and then proportioned, 2 Who determined and guided them, 3 And Who brings out the pasturage, 4 Then made it dry and dark. 5 We shall make you recite and then you will not forget, 6 Except what Allah, may will, He knows what is apparent and what is hidden. 7 We shall take you slowly towards ease. 8 Therefore remind, if the Reminder profits, 9 He who fears [Allah] will be reminded. 10 but aloof from it will remain that most hapless wretch 11 Who will burn in the terrible Fire, 12 Wherein he will neither die nor live. 13 He has certainly succeeded who purifies himself 14 And remembereth the name of his Lord, so prayeth, 15 Nay, but you prefer the present life; 16 and the world to come is better, and more enduring. 17 Surely this is in the ancient scrolls, 18 The Books of Abraham and Moses. 19
