Al-A'alaa
The All High (Al-A'alaa)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
۞ Glorify the name of your Lord, the Most High, 1 Who createth, then disposeth; 2 And Who makes (things) according to a measure, then guides (them to their goal), 3 who brings forth the pastures, 4 And then doth make it (but) swarthy stubble. 5 We shall make you recite so that you will not forget, 6 Except what Allah pleases, surely He knows the manifest, and what is hidden. 7 And We shall make easy unto thee the easy way. 8 Therefore remind, if the Reminder profits, 9 The reminder will be received by him who fears (Allah), 10 but the most wretched shall flout it, 11 He will be cast into the Great Fire. 12 in which he will neither die nor live therein. 13 He who purified himself shall prosper, 14 remember the name of the Lord, and pray to Him. 15 Nay! you prefer the life of this world, 16 even though the life hereafter will be better and will last forever. 17 Lo! This is in the former scrolls. 18 Writs of Ibrahim and Musa. 19
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
