The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
۞ Exalt the Name of your Lord, the Highest, 1 Who creates, then makes complete, 2 And Who hath disposed and then guided, 3 And Who bringeth forth the pasturage, 4 then caused it to wither away. 5 We shall make thee read (O Muhammad) so that thou shalt not forget 6 Except what Allah, may will, He knows what is apparent and what is hidden. 7 We shall take you slowly towards ease. 8 Therefor remind (men), for of use is the reminder. 9 and he who fears shall remember, 10 And the wretched shunneth it. 11 He who shall roast into the Great Fire, 12 Then he will neither die in it, nor live. 13 Indeed successful is the one who became pure. 14 who remembers the name of his Lord and prays, shall indeed be successful. 15 But you prefer the worldly life, 16 and the world to come is better, and more enduring. 17 This indeed is what is taught in the former scriptures -- 18 The scriptures of Abraham and Moses. 19
