The All High (Al-A'alaa)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
۞ Glorify the name of thy Guardian-Lord Most High, 1 who created all things and gave them due proportions, 2 Who determines and directs, 3 It is He who has caused the grass to grow, 4 and then made it into a blackish straw. 5 We shall make you recite and then you will not forget, 6 Unless God may please. He knows the visible and knows what is hidden. 7 And We will make your way smooth to a state of ease. 8 Therefore remind, if the Reminder profits, 9 and he who fears shall remember, 10 But it will be avoided by those most unfortunate ones, 11 He who shall roast into the Great Fire, 12 In which he will neither die nor live. 13 He indeed hath attained bliss who hath cleansed himself, 14 and mentions the Name of his Lord, and prays. 15 But ye prefer the life of the world 16 although the Hereafter is better and more lasting. 17 Verily this is in Writs ancient 18 The Scriptures of Ibrahim (Abraham) and Musa (Moses). 19
True are the words of God the Almighty.

Notes and Instructions
قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
