The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
۞ Magnify the Name of thy Lord the Most High 1 Who creates, then makes complete, 2 And Who has measured (preordainments for each and everything even to be blessed or wretched); then guided (i.e. showed mankind the right as well as wrong paths, and guided the animals to pasture); 3 Who bringeth forth the pasturage, 4 And then doth make it (but) swarthy stubble. 5 We shall now make you read (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him), so you will not forget. 6 Except what Allah, may will, He knows what is apparent and what is hidden. 7 And We shall make easy for you (O Muhammad (Peace be upon him)) the easy way (i.e. the doing of righteous deeds). 8 Therefore give admonition in case the admonition profits (the hearer). 9 He who fears [Allah] will be reminded. 10 And the most unfortunate one will avoid it, 11 who will roast in the Great Fire, 12 wherein they will neither live nor die. 13 Indeed successful is the one who became pure. 14 and remembers the Name of his Lord, so he prays. 15 But you prefer the worldly life, 16 although the life to come is better and more enduring. 17 Lo! This is in the former scrolls. 18 the Scrolls of Abraham and Moses. 19
