The All High (Al-A'alaa)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ Glorify the name of your Lord, the Most High, 1 who creates [every thing,] and thereupon forms it in accordance with what it is meant to be, 2 And the One Who kept proper measure and then guided. 3 And Who brings forth herbage, 4 And then makes it dark stubble. 5 We shall make thee read (O Muhammad) so that thou shalt not forget 6 Save that which Allah may will. Verily He knoweth the public and that which is hidden. 7 And We will make your way smooth to a state of ease. 8 Therefore give admonition in case the admonition profits (the hearer). 9 He who fears [Allah] will be reminded. 10 but aloof from it will remain that most hapless wretch 11 He who shall roast into the Great Fire, 12 wherein they will neither live nor die. 13 He who purified himself shall prosper, 14 remember the name of the Lord, and pray to Him. 15 But you prefer the life of this world, 16 Although the Hereafter is better and more lasting. 17 This is surely in the earlier Books, 18 In the Books of Ibrahim and Moosa. 19
