The All High (Al-A'alaa)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ Glorify the name of your Lord, the Most High, 1 who creates [every thing,] and thereupon forms it in accordance with what it is meant to be, 2 And Who hath disposed and then guided, 3 And Who brings forth herbage, 4 then made it a blackening wrack. 5 We shall enable thee to recite, and then thou shalt not forget, 6 Except what Allah wills; indeed He knows all the evident and all the concealed. 7 We shall ease thee unto the Easing. 8 REMIND, THEN, [others of the truth, regardless of] whether this reminding [would seem to] be of use [or not]: 9 and he who fears shall remember, 10 but the reprobates will turn away 11 He who shall roast into the Great Fire, 12 wherein they will neither live nor die. 13 He indeed hath attained bliss who hath cleansed himself, 14 who remembers the name of his Lord and prays, shall indeed be successful. 15 But nay, [O men,] you prefer the life of this world, 16 But the Hereafter is better and more enduring. 17 Verily! This is in the former Scriptures, 18 In the Books of Ibrahim and Moosa. 19
