The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
۞ Glorify the name of your Lord, the Most High, 1 Who creates, then makes complete, 2 and who determines the nature [of all that exists,] and thereupon guides it [towards its fulfilment,] 3 And Who brings out the pasturage, 4 then made it a blackening wrack. 5 We shall make you recite and then you will not forget, 6 Save that which Allah willeth. Lo! He knoweth the disclosed and that which still is hidden; 7 We shall ease you to the easy. 8 Therefore advise, if advising is beneficial. 9 Admonished is he indeed who feareth, 10 But it will be avoided by the wretched, 11 even he who shall roast in the Great Fire, 12 Wherein he will neither die nor live. 13 Surely he will succeed who grows in goodness, 14 who remembers the name of his Lord and prays, shall indeed be successful. 15 But ye prefer the life of the world 16 Though the life to come is better and abiding. 17 Most surely this is in the earlier scriptures, 18 The scriptures of Abraham and Moses. 19
