The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
۞ Hallow thou the name of thine Lord, the Most High, 1 who created all things and gave them due proportions, 2 who determines the nature [of all that exists], and guided it accordingly; 3 And Who bringeth forth the pasturage, 4 then caused it to wither away. 5 [O Prophet!] We shall make you recite the Quran so that you will not forget any of it -- 6 Except what Allah wills; indeed He knows all the evident and all the concealed. 7 And We shall create the means of ease for you. 8 Therefore remind, if the Reminder profits, 9 and he who fears shall remember, 10 But it will be avoided by those most unfortunate ones, 11 and suffer the heat of the great fire 12 in which he will neither die nor live therein. 13 He indeed hath attained bliss who hath cleansed himself, 14 And magnifies the name of his Lord and prays. 15 But you prefer the life of this world, 16 While the Hereafter is better and more enduring. 17 Lo! This is in the former scrolls. 18 the scrolls of Abraham and Moses. 19
