The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
۞ GLORIFY THE NAME of your Lord, most high, 1 Who createth, then disposeth; 2 and who determines the nature [of all that exists,] and thereupon guides it [towards its fulfilment,] 3 and who brings forth herbage, 4 And [then] makes it black stubble. 5 We shall teach you (the Quran) and you will not forget it 6 except whatever God wills; He knows both what is manifest and what is hidden -- 7 And We shall make easy for you (O Muhammad (Peace be upon him)) the easy way (i.e. the doing of righteous deeds). 8 Remind, if the reminder can be of benefit. 9 He who fears will mind, 10 But the wretched one will avoid it - 11 He who will be flung to the great Fire 12 Then he neither dies in it, nor lives. 13 Surely he will succeed who grows in goodness, 14 and remembers the Name of his Lord, so he prays. 15 But you prefer the present life, 16 although the life to come is better and more enduring. 17 Surely, this is in the ancient Scrolls, 18 the Scrolls of Abraham and Moses. 19
