The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
۞ (Muhammad), glorify the Name of your lord, the Most High, 1 who creates [every thing,] and thereupon forms it in accordance with what it is meant to be, 2 who determines the nature [of all that exists], and guided it accordingly; 3 The One Who produced pasture. 4 Then makes it dried up, dust-colored. 5 WE SHALL teach thee, and thou wilt not forget [aught of what thou art taught,] 6 save what God wills; surely He knows what is spoken aloud and what is hidden. 7 and [thus] shall We make easy for thee the path towards [ultimate] ease. 8 So remind them if reminder is profitable: 9 Those who fear will understand. 10 Only the wretch will turn aside, 11 He who shall roast into the Great Fire, 12 Then he will neither die in it, nor live. 13 He who purified himself shall prosper, 14 and remembers the Name of his Lord, so he prays. 15 But no, you prefer the life of the world, 16 although the Hereafter is better and more lasting. 17 Surely, this is in the ancient Scrolls, 18 The Scriptures of Ibrahim (Abraham) and Musa (Moses). 19
