The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ Glorify the Name of your Lord, the Most High, 1 Who created and proportioned 2 Who determines and directs, 3 who brings forth green pasture, 4 then made it a blackening wrack. 5 We shall make you recite so that you will not forget, 6 Unless God may please. He knows the visible and knows what is hidden. 7 We shall ease you to the easy. 8 Therefore do remind, surely reminding does profit. 9 He who fears (Allah) shall heed it, 10 but the reprobates will turn away 11 He who will be flung to the great Fire 12 where he will neither die nor live. 13 He who purified himself shall prosper, 14 who remembers the name of his Lord and prays, shall indeed be successful. 15 No; but you prefer the present life, 16 although the life to come is better and more enduring. 17 This is what is written in the ancient heavenly Books, 18 The scriptures of Ibrahim and Musa. 19
