Al-A'alaa
The All High (Al-A'alaa)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ Glorify the name of your Lord, the Most High, 1 Who creates, then makes complete, 2 And the One Who kept proper measure and then guided. 3 Who brought forth the pasture, 4 then turns it into black stubble. 5 We shall teach you (the Quran) and you will not forget it 6 Except what Allah pleases, surely He knows the manifest, and what is hidden. 7 And We will ease you toward ease. 8 Therefore remind, if the Reminder profits, 9 and he who fears shall remember, 10 but the wretched will turn away from it. 11 who will enter the Great Fire, 12 then he shall neither die therein, nor live. 13 Lasting happiness will be for those who purify themselves, 14 who remembers the name of his Lord and prays, shall indeed be successful. 15 But rather you prefer the life of this world! 16 Though the life to come is better and abiding. 17 Verily this is in Writs ancient 18 the Scriptures of Abraham and Moses. 19
