The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
۞ Hallow thou the name of thine Lord, the Most High, 1 who created all things and gave them due proportions, 2 Who hath ordained laws. And granted guidance; 3 And who brings out the pasture 4 Then turneth it to russet stubble. 5 We shall make you recite and then you will not forget, 6 Except as Allah wills: For He knoweth what is manifest and what is hidden. 7 And We will make it easy for thee (to follow) the simple (Path). 8 Remind, if the reminder can be of benefit. 9 He who fears (Allah) shall heed it, 10 And the wretched shunneth it. 11 [He] who will [enter and] burn in the greatest Fire, 12 then he shall neither die therein, nor live. 13 Prosperous is he who purifies himself, 14 And remembers (glorifies) the Name of his Lord (worships none but Allah), and prays (five compulsory prayers and Nawafil additional prayers). 15 But nay, [O men,] you prefer the life of this world, 16 While the hereafter is better and more lasting. 17 Verily! This is in the former Scriptures, 18 The scriptures of Abraham and Moses. 19
