The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ Exalt the Name of your Lord, the Highest, 1 who created and shaped, 2 Who measureth, then guideth; 3 The One Who produced pasture. 4 And [then] makes it black stubble. 5 By degrees shall We teach thee to declare (the Message), so thou shalt not forget, 6 Save that which Allah willeth. Lo! He knoweth the disclosed and that which still is hidden; 7 We shall ease you to the easy. 8 Therefore remind, if the Reminder profits, 9 He who fears (Allah) shall heed it, 10 Only the wretch will turn aside, 11 Who will enter the great Fire and made to taste its burning, 12 In which they will then neither die nor live. 13 Indeed whosoever purifies himself (by avoiding polytheism and accepting Islamic Monotheism) shall achieve success, 14 And remembereth the name of his Lord, so prayeth, 15 But you prefer the life of this world, 16 Whereas the Hereafter is better and more lasting. 17 This is surely in the earlier Books, 18 the Scriptures of Abraham and Moses. 19
