The All High (Al-A'alaa)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
۞ Praise the name of thy Lord the Most High, 1 Who has created (everything), and then proportioned it; 2 who determines the nature [of all that exists], and guided it accordingly; 3 And Who brings out the pasturage, 4 Then turneth it to russet stubble. 5 We will make you recite, [O Muhammad], and you will not forget, 6 Except what Allah wills; indeed He knows all the evident and all the concealed. 7 We shall ease you to the easy. 8 Remind, if the reminder can be of benefit. 9 He who fears (Allah) shall heed it, 10 And the wretched shunneth it. 11 Who will enter the great Fire and made to taste its burning, 12 Then he neither dies in it, nor lives. 13 He has certainly succeeded who purifies himself 14 And who remembereth the name of his Lord, and then prayeth. 15 But nay, [O men,] you prefer the life of this world, 16 While the hereafter is better and more lasting. 17 Lo! This is in the former scrolls. 18 The Books of Abraham and Moses. 19
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
