The All High (Al-A'alaa)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ EXTOL the limitless glory of thy Sustainer's name: [the glory of] the Al-Highest, 1 Who created all things and fashioned them in good proportion; 2 Who determined and guided them, 3 Who brings out the pastures 4 Then made it dry and dark. 5 We will make you recite, [O Muhammad], and you will not forget, 6 except whatever God wills; He knows both what is manifest and what is hidden -- 7 And We shall make easy unto thee the easy way. 8 Therefore give admonition in case the admonition profits (the hearer). 9 He will heed who feareth, 10 but the most wretched shall avoid it, 11 even he who shall roast in the Great Fire, 12 wherein they will neither live nor die. 13 He indeed shall be successful who purifies himself, 14 who remembers the name of his Lord and prays, shall indeed be successful. 15 But you prefer the life of this world, 16 Whereas the Hereafter is better and everlasting. 17 Indeed this is in the former scriptures. 18 the Scriptures of Abraham and Moses. 19
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
