The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ Glorify the name of your Lord, the Most High, 1 who created all things and gave them due proportions, 2 who determined and guided, 3 And Who brings forth herbage, 4 And [then] makes it black stubble. 5 We will make you recite, [O Muhammad], and you will not forget, 6 save what God wills; surely He knows what is spoken aloud and what is hidden. 7 And We shall make easy for you (O Muhammad (Peace be upon him)) the easy way (i.e. the doing of righteous deeds). 8 Therefore do remind, surely reminding does profit. 9 He who fears will mind, 10 Only the wretch will turn aside, 11 he who [in the life to come] shall have to endure the great fire 12 Then he will neither die in it, nor live. 13 He who purifies himself, 14 and remembers the Name of his Lord, so he prays. 15 But ye prefer the life of this world, 16 While the Hereafter is better and more enduring. 17 Verily, [all] this has indeed been [said] in the earlier revelations 18 the scriptures of Abraham and Moses. 19
