Al-A'alaa
The All High (Al-A'alaa)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ Glorify the Name of your Lord, the Most High, 1 who has created and shaped, 2 who has ordained and guided, 3 who brought forth the pasturage 4 then made it a blackening wrack. 5 WE SHALL teach thee, and thou wilt not forget [aught of what thou art taught,] 6 Save that which Allah may will. Verily He knoweth the public and that which is hidden. 7 And We will make it easy for thee (to follow) the simple (Path). 8 Wherefore admonish thou; admonition hath surely profited, 9 and he who fears shall remember, 10 But it will be avoided by the wretched, 11 He will be cast into the Great Fire. 12 Neither dying therein nor living. 13 He is successful who groweth, 14 And who remembereth the name of his Lord, and then prayeth. 15 However, (the disbelievers) prefer the worldly life 16 although the Hereafter is better and more lasting. 17 Indeed, this is in the former scriptures, 18 In the Books of Ibrahim and Moosa. 19
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
