The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
۞ Exalt the name of your Lord, the Most High, 1 Who created and proportioned 2 Who determines and directs, 3 who brought forth the pasturage 4 Then maketh it to stubble dusky. 5 By degrees shall We teach thee to declare (the Message), so thou shalt not forget, 6 except whatever God wills; He knows both what is manifest and what is hidden -- 7 We shall ease you to the easy. 8 Wherefore admonish thou; admonition hath surely profited, 9 Soon whoever fears will heed advice. 10 But it will be avoided by those most unfortunate ones, 11 He who shall roast into the Great Fire, 12 Neither dying therein nor living. 13 Prosperous is he who has cleansed himself, 14 and remembers the Name of his Lord, so he prays. 15 Nay, but you prefer the present life; 16 Whereas the Hereafter is better and everlasting. 17 This indeed is what is taught in the former scriptures -- 18 The Books of Abraham and Moses. 19
