The Night (Al-Layl)
21 verses, revealed in Mecca after The All High (Al-A'alaa) before Dawn (Al-Fajr)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
By the night when it covers the day, 1 and by the day as it appears radiantly, 2 By (the mystery of) the creation of male and female;- 3 surely your striving is to diverse ends. 4 Yet he who gives to others and has fear, 5 and affirmed the Truth of goodness: 6 We will facilitate for him the easy end. 7 but for him that is a miser, and sufficed, 8 and cries lies to the reward most fair, 9 We will facilitate for him the difficult end. 10 nor will his wealth profit him when he falls [into the pit]. 11 Verify on us is the guidance 12 and to Us belong the hereafter and the worldly life. 13 I have now warned you of the Blazing Fire, 14 in which no one will suffer forever except the wicked ones 15 who gives the lie to the truth and turns away [from it]. 16 And away from it shall be kept the one who guards most (against evil), 17 And gives of his wealth that he may grow in virtue, 18 And none hath with him any favour for reward, 19 except the pleasure of their Lord, the Most High 20 surely, he shall be satisfied. 21
God Almighty has spoken the truth.

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
