The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
By the morning hours 1 And the night when dark and still, 2 Thy Sustainer has not forsaken thee, nor does He scorn thee: 3 What is to come is better for you than what has gone before; 4 And presently thy Lord shall give unto thee so that thou shalt be well-pleased. 5 Did He not find you an orphan and take care of you? 6 And found you deeply engrossed in His love, so directed you? 7 And find you in want and make you to be free from want? 8 Therefore do not treat the orphan with harshness, 9 And do not drive the beggar away, 10 But tell of the favors of your Lord! 11
Almighty Allah's Truth.
