The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
By the morning hours 1 and by the night when it covers, 2 Thy Lord hath not forsaken thee nor doth He hate thee, 3 And indeed the latter is better for you than the former. 4 And verily thy Lord will give unto thee so that thou wilt be content. 5 Has He not found thee an orphan, and given thee shelter? 6 Did He not find you perplexed, and show you the way? 7 Did He not find thee destitute and enrich (thee)? 8 So as for the orphan, do not oppress [him]. 9 And as for the petitioner, do not repel [him]. 10 and proclaim the bounties of your Lord. 11
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
