The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
By the forenoon (after sun-rise); 1 and by the calm of night, 2 Your Lord has not taken leave of you, [O Muhammad], nor has He detested [you]. 3 and the Hereafter will indeed be better for you than the present life; 4 And indeed, in time will thy Sustainer grant thee [what thy heart desires,] and thou shalt be well-pleased. 5 Did He not find thee an orphan, and shelter thee? 6 Did He not find you a wanderer so He guided you? 7 And He found thee destitute, so He enriched thee. 8 Do not oppress the orphans 9 And as for the petitioner, do not repel [him]. 10 But as for the favor of your Lord, report [it]. 11
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
