Al-Duhaa

The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)

In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate

By the midmorning, 1 and by the night when it covers, 2 Your Lord has not forsaken you, nor has He become displeased, 3 What is to come is better for you than what has gone before; 4 And verily, your Lord will give you (all i.e. good) so that you shall be well-pleased. 5 Did He not find you orphaned and shelter you? 6 And found thee lost on thy way, and guided thee? 7 And He found thee in need, and made thee independent. 8 Therefore, treat not the orphan with oppression, 9 And do not drive the beggar away, 10 and as for thy Lord's blessing, declare it. 11

Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
