Al-Duhaa

The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)

In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace

By the bright forenoon, 1 And by the night when it is stillest, 2 Thy Lord hath not forsaken thee, nor is He displeased. 3 Indeed what is to come will be better for you than what has gone by. 4 And soon will thy Guardian-Lord give thee (that wherewith) thou shalt be well-pleased. 5 Did He not find you an orphan and give you shelter? 6 And find you lost (that is, unrecognized by men) and guide (them to you)? 7 Did He not find you poor and suffice you? 8 So do not oppress the orphan, 9 And as for him who asks, do not chide (him), 10 and of thy Sustainer's blessings shalt thou [ever] speak. 11

God Almighty has spoken the truth.
