The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
I swear by the early hours of the day, 1 and by the night when it covers the world with peace: 2 (O Prophet), your Lord has neither forsaken you, nor is He displeased. 3 And verily the Hereafter will be better for thee than the present. 4 And indeed, in time will thy Sustainer grant thee [what thy heart desires,] and thou shalt be well-pleased. 5 Did He not find you orphaned and shelter you? 6 Did He not find you perplexed, and show you the way? 7 And did He not find you in need and make you rich? 8 Wherefore as to the orphan, be thou not unto him overbearing. 9 and do not reject the beggars 10 and proclaim the bounty of your Lord. 11
