Al-Duhaa

The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)

In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful

By the midmorning, 1 And by the night when it is still (or darkens); 2 Thy Sustainer has not forsaken thee, nor does He scorn thee: 3 Indeed what is to come will be better for you than what has gone by. 4 Your Lord will soon grant you sufficient favors to please you. 5 Did He not find you an orphan and give you shelter? 6 And He found thee wandering, so He guided thee, 7 And found thee in want, and given thee sufficiency? 8 As for the orphan, do not oppress him, 9 and chide not him who asks, 10 And as to the favour of thine Lord, discourse thou thereof. 11

God Almighty has spoken the truth.
