The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
By the morning hours 1 and by the calm of night, 2 Your Lord has neither left you, nor despises you. 3 And verily the Hereafter will be better for thee than the present. 4 Your Lord will give you, and you will be satisfied. 5 Did He not find you an orphan and give you shelter? 6 And found thee lost on thy way, and guided thee? 7 And He found thee destitute, so He enriched thee. 8 Therefore do not treat the orphan with harshness, 9 Therefor the beggar drive not away, 10 And abundantly proclaim the favours of your Lord. 11
Almighty God's Truth.
