Have you seen the one who turned away 33 And gives a little and (then) withholds. 34 What! Has he knowledge of the Unseen so that he can see? 35 Has he not been made acquainted with what was written in the scriptures of Moses? 36 And (of) Ibrahim who fulfilled (the commandments): 37 That no soul laden bears the load of another, 38 And that man can have nothing but what he does (good or bad). 39 and that in time [the nature of] all his striving will be shown [to him in its true light,] 40 And only then will he receive his recompense in full; 41 That to thy Lord is the final Goal; 42 And that He it is who maketh laugh, and maketh weep, 43 And that He it is Who giveth death and giveth life; 44 and that it is He who creates the two kinds - the male and the female 45 from a discharged living germ 46 and that upon Him is the second creation 47 And that He it is Who enriches and gives to hold; 48 And that it is He who is the Lord of Sirius 49 It was He who totally destroyed the former 'Ad 50 And that Thamud! He left not. 51 and before them the people of Noah who were even more unjust and insolent; 52 And that it is He Who threw down the upturned townships? 53 and then covered them from sight forever. 54 Which of your Lord's benefits will you then dispute about? 55 This is a (Prophet) like that of the ancient warners (Prophets). 56 The Day of Resurrection draws near, 57 None, except Allah, can avert it. 58 Then at this statement do you wonder? 59 And will ye laugh and not weep,- 60 and divert yourselves all the while? 61 So prostrate yourselves before Allah and worship. ۩ 62
