Al-Duhaa

The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)

In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful

By the morning hours 1 And the night when dark and still, 2 Your Lord has not forsaken you nor does He dislike you! 3 Indeed what is to come will be better for you than what has gone by. 4 And soon will thy Guardian-Lord give thee (that wherewith) thou shalt be well-pleased. 5 Did He not find you an orphan and give [you] refuge? 6 Did He not find you wandering about and give you guidance? 7 And He found thee destitute, so He enriched thee. 8 Do not oppress the orphan, 9 Therefor the beggar drive not away, 10 But tell of the favors of your Lord! 11

Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
