Al-Duhaa

The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)

In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate

By the white forenoon 1 And the night when it covers with darkness. 2 your Lord has not forsaken you, nor is He displeased with you, 3 And the Hereafter is indeed better unto thee than the life present. 4 And presently thy Lord shall give unto thee so that thou shalt be well-pleased. 5 Did He not find you an orphan and give you shelter? 6 Did He not find you unaware of the Right Way, and then directed you to it? 7 Did He not find you in want, and make you free from want? 8 Therefore do not treat the orphan with harshness, 9 and chide not him who asks, 10 and proclaim the bounty of your Lord. 11

God the Almighty always says the truth.
