The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
By the midmorning, 1 And the night when it covers with darkness. 2 (O Prophet), your Lord has neither forsaken you, nor is He displeased. 3 and the Hereafter will indeed be better for you than the present life; 4 And verily, your Lord will give you (all i.e. good) so that you shall be well-pleased. 5 Did He not find you an orphan and then gave you shelter? 6 Did He not find you perplexed, and show you the way? 7 And did He not find you in want, and then enriched you? 8 Therefore, the orphan shalt thou never wrong, 9 Nor repulse the petitioner (unheard); 10 and proclaim the bounty of your Lord. 11
