The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
By the white forenoon 1 And [by] the night when it covers with darkness, 2 Thy Sustainer has not forsaken thee, nor does He scorn thee: 3 And the Hereafter is better for you than the first [life]. 4 soon you will be gratified with what your Lord will give you. 5 Did He not find thee an orphan and protect (thee)? 6 And found thee lost on thy way, and guided thee? 7 And He found you poor, and made you rich (selfsufficient with selfcontentment, etc.)? 8 As for the orphan, do not oppress him, 9 And as to the beggar, chide thou him not. 10 But the bounty of the Lord - rehearse and proclaim! 11
