Al-Duhaa

The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)

In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful

By the forenoon (after sun-rise); 1 And by the Night when it is still,- 2 Your Lord has not forsaken you, nor has He become displeased, 3 Indeed what is to come will be better for you than what has gone by. 4 Verily your Lord will soon give you so amply that you will be well-pleased. 5 Did He not find you an orphan and give you shelter? 6 And found you deeply engrossed in His love, so directed you? 7 And He found thee destitute, so He enriched thee. 8 Do not oppress the orphan, 9 And as for him who asks, do not chide (him), 10 And keep recounting the favours of your Lord. 11

God the Almighty always says the truth.
