Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
8 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa) before The Afternoon (Al-'Asr)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
۞ (O Prophet), Did We not lay open your breast 1 and relieve you of the burden 2 that had well-nigh broken your back? 3 and granted you an exalted reputation? 4 After every difficulty there is relief. 5 truly with hardship comes ease.' 6 Then when thou becometh relieved, toil; 7 And to your Lord (Alone) turn (all your intentions and hopes and) your invocations. 8
