Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
8 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa) before The Afternoon (Al-'Asr)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
۞ Have We not caused thy bosom to dilate, 1 And removed from you your burden, 2 that weighed so heavily on your back, and 3 And raised high the esteem (in which) thou (art held)? 4 Surely with difficulty is ease. 5 Most certainly, there is ease with hardship. 6 Then when thou becometh relieved, toil; 7 And to thy Lord turn (all) thy attention. 8
True are the words of God the Almighty.
