Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
8 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa) before The Afternoon (Al-'Asr)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
۞ Have We not caused thy bosom to dilate, 1 And We have taken off from thee thy burthen, 2 that weighed down your back? 3 And did We not exalt your fame? 4 Surely with difficulty is ease. 5 indeed, hardship is followed by ease! 6 Therefore, when thou art free (from thine immediate task), still labour hard, 7 and let your longing be for your Lord (in humility). 8
True are the words of God the Almighty.
