Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)

8 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa) before The Afternoon (Al-'Asr)

In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful

۞ Did We not expand for you, [O Muhammad], your breast? 1 and relieved you of your burden 2 Which weighed down your back? 3 And We have upraised for thee thy renown. 4 So, surely with every hardship there is ease; 5 Indeed, with hardship [will be] ease. 6 So when you finish the prayer, strive in supplication. 7 And to your Lord direct [your] longing. 8
