Hizb 53

Has there reached you the story of the honored guests of Abraham? - 24 When they came in unto him and said: Peace! he answered, Peace! (and thought): Folk unknown (to me). 25 He went quietly to his wife and returned to his guests with a fat, roasted calf. 26 And placed it near them; he said, "Will you not eat?" 27 And he felt from them apprehension. They said, "Fear not," and gave him good tidings of a learned boy. 28 His wife came forward, crying and beating her face, saying, "I am an old barren woman!" 29 They said: Thus says your Lord: Surely He is the Wise, the Knowing. 30 ۞ Said he, 'And what is your business, envoys?' 31 They replied, "We have been sent to a sinful people, 32 That we may send down upon them stone of clay, 33 which are marked by your Lord for the punishment of those guilty of excesses." 34 Then We evacuated those of the Believers who were there, 35 But We found not there any just (Muslim) persons except in one house: 36 and We left therein a sign for those who fear a painful punishment. 37 There is another sign in Moses: We sent him to Pharaoh with clear authority. 38 but he turned his back with his Assembly, saying: 'He is (either) a sorcerer or a mad man' 39 Then We laid hold of him and his hosts and flung them into the sea, and he was reproachable. 40 In 'Ad (also is a sign), when We sent a blasting wind against them, 41 Which turned everything it touched to ashes. 42 There is also a Sign for you in (the story of) Thamud. They were told: “Enjoy yourselves for a while.” 43 But they insolently defied the Command of their Lord, so the Sa'iqah overtook them while they were looking. 44 Then they could not even stand (on their feet), nor could they help themselves. 45 And the people of Nuh We destroyed aforetime; verily they were a people transgressing. 46
