Al-Sharrhh
Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
8 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa) before The Afternoon (Al-'Asr)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
۞ Did We not expand for you, [O Muhammad], your breast? 1 and removed your burden 2 Which weighed down your back? 3 have We not given you high renown? 4 But lo! with hardship goeth ease, 5 Indeed, with hardship [will be] ease. 6 So when you have finished (from your occupation), then stand up for Allah's worship (i.e. stand up for prayer). 7 And to thy Lord turn (all) thy attention. 8
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
