The Fig (Al-Teen)

8 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Galaxies (Al-Burooj) before Quraish (Quraish)

In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful

I swear by the fig and the olive, 1 By Mount Sinai, 2 and by this city (of Makkah), a haven of peace: 3 surely We created man in the best mould; 4 Then brought him down to the lowest of the low, 5 except the believers who do good works, for theirs shall be an unfailing recompense. 6 So after this, what causes you to deny the judgement? 7 Is Allah not the Most Just of judges! 8

True are the words of God the Almighty.
