Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
Read! In the Name of your Lord, Who has created (all that exists), 1 created man out of a germ-cell 2 Read - for thy Sustainer is the Most Bountiful One 3 who taught by the pen, 4 Has taught man that which he knew not. 5 Yes indeed, man is surely rebellious. 6 because he thinks that he is independent. 7 Indeed, to your Lord is the returning. 8 What do you think? Have you seen he who forbids 9 a servant when he prays -- 10 What thinkest thou? If he were upon guidance 11 or if he commands others to maintain piety!? 12 What will happen if the prohibiting rejects the Truth and turns away from it!? 13 Does he not know that Allah sees everything? 14 Let him beware! If he desist not, We will drag him by the forelock,- 15 The lying, sinful forelock - 16 So let him summon his helpmates; 17 and We too will call the stern and angry keepers of hell. 18 Yes indeed; do not listen to him – and prostrate, and become close to Us. (Command of Prostration # 14) ۩ 19
