Destiny (Al-Qadr)

5 verses, revealed in Mecca after He Frowned ('Abasa) before The Sun (Al-Shams)

Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

Verily! We have sent it (this Quran) down in the night of Al-Qadr (Decree) 1 What could let you know what the Night of Honor is! 2 (Worship) on the Night of Destiny is better than (worship) for a thousand months. 3 in hosts descend in it the angels, bearing divine inspiration by their Sustainer's leave; from all [evil] that may happen 4 It is peace until the rising of dawn. 5

God Almighty has spoken the truth.
