Proof (Al-Bayyinah)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
Those who disbelieve from among the people of the Scripture (Jews and Christians) and among Al-Mushrikun, were not going to leave (their disbelief) until there came to them clear evidence. 1 An messenger from Allah, rehearsing scriptures kept pure and holy: 2 Wherein are laws (or decrees) right and straight. 3 And they scattered not, those that were given the Book, excepting after the Clear Sign came to them. 4 And withal, they were not enjoined aught but that they should worship God, sincere in their faith in Him alone, turning away from all that is false; and that they should be constant in prayer; and that they should spend in charity: for this is a moral law endowed with ever-true soundness and clarity. 5 Surely those who disbelieve from among the followers of the Book and the polytheists shall be in the fire of hell, abiding therein; they are the worst of men. 6 But those who believe, and do righteous deeds, those are the best of creatures; 7 Their reward is – with their Lord – everlasting Gardens of Eden beneath which rivers flow, in which they will abide for ever and ever; Allah is pleased with them and they are pleased with Him; this is for one who fears his Lord. 8
