The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)

8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)

In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful

When the earth is shaken by a terrible quake 1 And Earth yieldeth up her burdens, 2 And man cries (distressed): 'What is the matter with her?'- 3 That day it will narrate its annals, 4 Because your Lord had inspired her. 5 On that Day mankind shall issue in scatterings to see their deeds. 6 Then shall anyone who has done an atom's weight of good, see it! 7 and whosoever has done an atom's weight of evil shall see it. 8

God Almighty has spoken the truth.
