Al-Zalzalah

The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)

8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)

In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful

When the earth is shaken with its mighty shaking, 1 And Earth yieldeth up her burdens, 2 And man says, "What is [wrong] with it?" - 3 On that Day it shall proclaim its news, 4 Because your Lord has inspired it. 5 That Day, the people will depart separated [into categories] to be shown [the result of] their deeds. 6 and whoso has done an atom's weight of good shall see it, 7 And whoever does an atom's weight of evil will see it. 8

God the Almighty always says the truth.
