The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
When the earth is shaken by a terrible quake 1 And the earth bringeth forth her burthens, 2 and man will cry out: “What is the matter with her?” 3 On that day earth will narrate its news, 4 for your Lord will have revealed to it. 5 On that day men will return towards their Lord, in different groups, in order to be shown their deeds. 6 Then whosoever hath worked good of an atom's weight shall behold it 7 while whoever has done the smallest particle of evil will see it. 8
